It is in keeping with the virtue of rationality always to apply one's faculty of reason to the data gathered by one's senses, for the purpose of acquiring knowledge about the world and ultimately to sustain one's life in this world. Through the application of one's rational faculty, one will discover the other virtues of the Objectivist ethics. Of course, if rationality doesn't land at what Rand put forth, then it is not rational, but merely a facade of such, used to conceal an irrational marxist heart.
